What is a CLNC (Certified Legal Nurse Consultant)?

A CLNC is a Registered Nurse who has received additional education regarding the legal system so that he/she can better serve attorneys with their medical-legal needs.

A Legal Nurse Consultant is qualified to screen, investigate, and conduct research for case development where nursing, medical, or health is an issue. They may also provide attorneys with such services as locating expert witnesses, attend IME's and prepare reports, timelines and chronologies to help attorneys quickly get to the bottom-line of their cases.
